About the ArtsUnion Marketplace Series:
The Somerville Arts Council's ArtsUnion project is designed to bolster economic activity in Union Square through cultural programming. In past years, ArtsUnion ran crafts markets held in conjunction with the weekly Farmers' Markets. The goals of the ArtsUnion Market Place series include: increasing the visibility of Somerville's strong local artist population; increasing economic activity for participating vendors and the area in general; and cultivating the square's artsy, diverse and unique ambiance.
Truth Serum's Urban Country Fair will combine Exhibitors, Craft and Art Sellers, Boston SkillShare workshops and old time countrified musical entertainment. Country Fairs are about sharing knowledge with neighbors while showing off your best efforts and maybe making some money while having fun. Truth Serum's Urban Country Fair will celebrate the same! We're encouraging vendors to show people what they make and how it's done when possible.
